- Do not touch any type of electrical equipment if any part of your body is wet, which includes being wet from perspiration.
- Never store any type of liquids right next to electrical equipment. This will help to eliminate any type of accidental spills onto the equipment.
- If somebody has come into contact with a live electrical conductor, turn off the main power source to that piece of equipment immediately via the circuit breaker and then unplug the equipment with a leather belt.
