3 Reasons to Hire a Bartender

3 Reasons to Hire a Bartender

Contents

Finally, we are coming to a time where bars will start to open, drinks will start flowing again, and seeing people in the flesh and not over Zoom will become a regular occurrence. While the thought of that can cause a rush of anxiety, and possibly a laundry wash, it will soon become normal again to hug our friends and do things we absolutely regret the next day after being in the throes of vodka.

That being said, you might not want to deal with strangers yet, and the desire to only see the people you want to see may definitely be stronger than the urge to socialize with whoever, as long as you are out of the house. So, with that in mind, here are three reasons you should hire a bartender for your own party!

Making the Drinks So You Don’t Have to

Is it not safe to say that we have had enough of making our own drinks at home? Sure, last year might have seen us meticulously measuring spirit units and slicing up oranges with extreme precision, whereas now we are lucky if we even find a mixer that matches whatever alcohol has been on special offer.

Hiring a bartender for your event should do exactly what it says on the tin – they will tend the bar. This means you are free to socialize with all of your guests, passing out the vol-au-vent’s or cheese puffs as you see fit, knowing that the drinks will be made to expert perfection. Find your perfect match at Event Bartenders and let them do the rest!

Qualified and Certified

You can’t just serve alcohol anywhere – if you could, the world might be a very different place. The responsibility that comes with serving alcohol is paramount, especially when there are age restrictions and the responsibility of having to use your better judgement and discretion with each individual customer.

Legitimate businesses are required to have both insurance and certification to be able to hold events and serve at different venues, which can be a huge peace of mind if you are planning an important event. There will also be an expectation of experience to a certain level too, so you can be sure that your event will run as smoothly as possible*.

You Won’t Run Out of Booze

Second to the worse thing that can happen to an event (having no booze at all), running out of booze can definitely change the tone of the evening. Bartenders are professionals in their field, and providing you can offer them as much detail about the event as possible such as how many guests are attending, they are able to calculate how many drinks you will need for a stocked bar without the risk of running out.

This is not just about booze either – what if someone’s mom can’t get a soda? What if the lime slices run out? And where has all the ice gone? Don’t worry! Not your concern – the bartender will handle everything.
