LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Clippers agreed to a deal extension with middle Ivica Zubac on Tuesday.
The workforce had declined its $7.5 million choice on the 25-calendar year-aged from Croatia, setting up the new deal that retains the 7-footer as the club’s longest-tenured participant.
“For 4 seasons, Zu has been a pillar of our workforce, strong and trustworthy,” director of basketball functions Lawrence Frank claimed. “He is a trustworthy teammate and a regular professional, just entering the prime of his job. We are thrilled to carry on expanding with him.”
Zubac began 76 video games very last season, averaging career highs in factors (10.3), rebounds (8.5), assists (1.6) and blocked pictures (1.). His 25 double-doubles have been a job-greatest and the most for a Clippers participant since 2017-18.
He invested his initial two seasons in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers.
