The stars ofThe Sopranos are having to pay tribute to Tony Sirico.
Sirico, who died on Friday (8 July) aged 79, appeared in the HBO collection as Paulie Walnuts.
The news was shared by Christopher Moltisanti actor Michael Imperioli, who reported: “I will overlook him endlessly.”
He additional: “Tony was like no 1 else: he was as rough, as loyal and as big hearted as everyone I’ve at any time recognised. I was at his facet through so substantially: via excellent times and undesirable. But generally excellent. And we experienced a great deal of laughs.
“We identified a groove as Christopher and Paulie and I am proud to say I did a ton of my most effective and most entertaining do the job with my pricey pal Tony.”
Silvio Dante actor Steven Van Zandt, who also starred with Sirico in Netflix sequence Lillyhammer, wrote: “A larger sized-than-everyday living character on and off screen. Gonna overlook you a large amount my friend. Deepest condolences to the spouse and children.”
Lorraine Bracco (Jennifer Melfi) referred to as Sirico “a stand-up man who constantly had my back again and who liked my children and my parents”.
She extra: “I have a lifetime of memories with Tony – starting up with Goodfellas to The Sopranos and way further than but my God, did we have enjoyment doing the Bensonhurst Spelling Bee. I hope he’s in heaven cracking every person up now. Like you, my pal.”

Collection creator David Chase hailed Sirico as a “jewel”, composing: “The way Buddhists refer to a jewel – supernatural and a grasp. But absolutely not a Zen grasp.
