  • Two tablespoons of oil
  • 8 ounces of pasta of your choice fettuccine (gluten-free pasta online)
  • four cloves of garlic minced
  • two teaspoons of lemon zest
  • one teaspoon of dried Italian herb mix
  • fresh parsley chopped
  • pepper
  • salt to taste
  • enough water to boil the pasta.

 For the cashew cauliflower-based Alfredo sauce

  • A quarter of a cup of raw cashews
  • 2 cups of cauliflower florets
  • two tablespoons of nutritional yeast,
  • a quarter teaspoon of garlic powder,
  • dried onion flakes or half a teaspoon of onion powder,
  • half a lemon,
  • a third of a cup of ice-cold water,
  • Salt to taste,

Instructions to cook the pasta

  1. Take a large pot of water and fill it up. Bring the water to a boil and when it’s boiling put in the pasta of your choice, preferably fettuccine. Please leave it to boil away and cook.
  2. While it is still cooking, take another steaming vessel. Put in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Please the steamer inside the vessel and got up the cauliflower florets and leave them on the Put the lid on the vessel and let it steam. Put the lid on the vessel and let it steam.

  6. After five minutes, drain the water off the pastor and in a container mix with the pasta and the dairy-free vegan Alfredo sauce.
  7. Now mix the nutritional yeast, garlic powder the dried onion flakes or the onion powder as well as the lemon zest, Salt, and pepper and mix them all.
