CBSE Class 10th results will not be announced on July 4, a board official confirmed Hindustan Times. The official, however, did not confirm the date and time for Class 10 results.

The CBSE class 10th examination Begun from April 26 and concluded on May 24. The CBSE class 10th exam lasted for 29 days.

This year a total of 2116209 candidates appeared for the CBSE class 10th examination and a total of 1454370 candidates appeared for the class 12th examination. 

CBSE class 12th examination was conducted in 6027 examination centers across the country.

CBSE Class 10 term 2 exams took place from April 26 to June 15 at 7,406 exam centres across the country.

After cancelling Class 10 board exams amid the second wave of Covid, CBSE had last year used a special assessment scheme for preparing results. It considered unit tests, half-yearly examination, and pre-board examination conducted by schools to declare results.

Responding to recent tweets by CBSE, students have asked the board to declare Class 12 results as early as possible, so that they can complete their university admission process. 

CBSE Class 10 term 1 exam was held in November-December last year and marks were sent to schools in March 2022.

To pass CBSE Class 10, students need to score at least 33% marks in theory and practical components of a subject. 

After final results, CBSE will announce dates and begin the registration process for Compartment exams. Those who are put in the compartment category – those who do not qualify in the main exam – will have to take this exam. 

While CBSE students wait for confirmation on their result date, PSEB is all set to declare Class 10 results. Punjab board Class 10 result will be declared on July 5 at around 12:30 pm. 

CBSE Class 10 term 2 exams were held for 75 subjects and Class 12 exams for 114 subjects.

CBSE will not announce names of Class 10 and Class 12 toppers along with final results. 

On CBSE final marks sheets, students will find result data like marks scored by them in term 1 and term 2, total marks and qualifying status, among others.

The total number of students for CBSE Class 10 term 2 board exams is 21,16,209 and for Class 12, it is 14,54,370.

Date and time for Odisha Class 10 or Matric result will be announced on Monday by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.

CBSE Class 10 results will also be available on DigiLocker. On the result day, students can check the DigiLocker app or use the websites – digilocker.gov.in – to view mark sheets. 

As per some reports, CBSE will announce Class 10 term 2 results on July 4. However, the board has not announced date and time yet. Follow this blog for latest updates.

To pass CBSE board exam, a student needs to secure at least 33% marks in theory and practical exams separately. 

Starting from the 2022-23 batch, the CBSE has decided to go back to the one board exam a year system. Thus, this batch will become the first and probably the last batch to take board exams split into 2 terms.
