रोई है बहुत ये आंखे मुस्कुराने से पहले..!!</div>

सांस लेने से तेरी याद आती है,

सांस नहीं लेता तो जान भी जाती है,

कह दू कैसे की इस सांस से जिंदा हूं मै,

ये सांस भी तो तेरी याद के बाद ही आती है..!!</div>

जिंदगी तो कट ही जाती है,

बस यही एक जिंदगी भर गम रहेगा,

कि हम उसे ना पा सके..!!</div>

याद बन कर मुझे सताओ ना तुम इस तरह,

तेरी याद में मेरा रो रो कर बुरा हाल है,

बस एक बार मेरी ज़िन्दगी में वापस आ जाओ,

मेरे दिल में बस अब तेरा ही ख्याल है..!!</div>

हमारे अकेले रहने की एक वजह ये भी है,

की हमे झूठे लोगो से रिश्ता तोड़ने में ज़रा भी डर नही लगता है..!!</div>

और मैं सोचता रह गया..!!</div>

उदास हूँ पर आपसे नाराज नहीं,

झूठ कहूँ तो सब कुछ मेरे पास हैं,

और सच कहूँ, तो आपकी यादो के सिवा कुछ भी नहीं..!!</div>

उन्हें चाहना मेरी कमज़ोरी है,

उनसे कह नहीं पाना मेरी मज़बूरी है,

वो क्यों नहीं समझते मेरी खामोशी,

क्या प्यार का इज़हार करना जरुरी है..!!</div>

मेरी तन्हाई को मेरा शौक मत समझना,

क्योंकि किसी अपने ने ये बहुत प्यार से दिया था तोहफे में..!!</div>

अब तो मेरे दुश्मन भी मुझे ये कह कर अकेला छोड़ गये,

की जा तेरे अपने ही बहुत हैं तुझे रुलाने के लिए..!!</div>

मोहब्बत कभी झूठी नही होती है,

झूठे तो कसमे, वादे और लोग होते हैं..!!</div>

कभी सुबह कभी शाम याद आता है,

मन्नते और मिन्नते कुछ काम नही आती,

चले ही जाते हैं वो जिन्हे जाना होता है..!!</div>

तेरे जाने के गम में रो कर रात गुजरती है,

आखिर क्यों तूने मुझे धोखा दिया,

तेरे बिना जिंदगी अब अधूरी सी लगती है,

किस लिए तूने मुझे अकेला छोड़ दिया..!!</div>

मैं तो बस ज़िंदगी से डरता हूं,

मौत तो एक बार मारेगी..!!</div>

ऐ मोहब्बत तेरे अंजाम पे रोना आया,

जाने क्यूँ आज तेरे नाम पे रोना आया..!!</div>

कौन रोता है किसी और की ख़ातिर ऐ दोस्त,

सब को अपनी ही किसी बात पे रोना आया..!!</div>

हम तो कुछ देर हँस भी लेते हैं,

दिल हमेशा उदास रहता है..!!</div>

कहाँ कोई मिला ऐसा जिसपे दिल लुटा देते,

हर एक ने धोखा दिया किस किसको भुला देते,

अपने दर्द को दिल ही में दवाये रखा,

करते बयां तो महफ़िलों को रुला देते..!!</div>

हमारे घर की दीवारों पे नासिर,

उदासी बाल खोले सो रही है..!!</div>

शाम भी थी धुआँ धुआँ हुस्न भी था उदास उदास,

दिल को कई कहानियाँ याद सी आ के रह गईं..!!</div>

देखी है बेरुखी की आज हमने इन्तेहा,

हम पे नजर पड़ी तो वो महफ़िल से उठ गए..!!</div>

चिंगारी का ख़ौफ़ न दिया करो हमे,

हम अपने दिल में दरिया बहाय बैठे है,

अरे हम तो कब का जल गये होते इस आग में,

लेकिन हमतो खुद को आंसुओ में भिगोये बैठे है..!!</div>

तलाश उसकी करो जो किसी के पास न हो,

भुला दो उसे जिस पर विश्वास न हो,

हम तो अपने ग़मों पर भी हँस पड़ते हैं,

वो इसलिए कि सामने वाला उदास न हो..!!</div>

नज़रे करम मुझ पर इतना न कर,

कि तेरी मोहब्बत के लिए बागी हो जाऊं,

मुझे इतना न पिला इश्क़-ए-जाम की,

मैं इश्क़ के जहर का आदि हो जाऊं..!!</div>

दीवारों से मिल कर रोना अच्छा लगता है,

हम भी पागल हो जाएँगे ऐसा लगता है..!!</div>

ये तो सच है ये ज़िन्दगानी उसी को रुलाती है,

जिसके आँसू पोछने बाला कोई नही होता है..!!</div>

अब तेरा नाम ही काफी है,

मेरा दिल दुखाने के लिए..!!</div>

वो दर्द दे गए सितम भी दे गए,

ज़ख्म के साथ वो मरहम भी दे गए,

ओ लफ्जो से कर गए अपना मन हल्का,

हमे कभी न रोने की कसम दे गए..!!</div>

जाते वक़्त आखिरी बार मुड़के देखा जरूर था उन्होंने हमें,

पता नही क्या कहना चाह रही थी वो बेबस सी दो आँखे उनकी..!!</div>

सबको देखकर यू मुस्कुराना तो अदा थी उनकी,

हम खामखा खुद को खुशनसीब समझ बैठे..!!</div>

वो बिछड़ के हमसे ये दूरियां कर गई,

न जाने क्यों ये मोहब्बत अधूरी कर गई,

अब हमे तन्हाइयां चुभती है तो क्या हुआ,

कम से कम उसकी सारी तमन्नाएं तो पूरी हो गई..!!</div>

प्यार हो या परिंदा, दोनों को आज़ाद छोड़ दो,

अगर लौट आया तो तुम्हारा,

और अगर न लौटा तो वह तुम्हारा था ही नहीं कभी..!!</div>

कुछ रिश्ते आजकल उस रास्ते पर जा रहे है,

न साथ छोड़ रहे हैं और न ही साथ निभा पा रहे हैं..!!</div>

शिकायत नहीं ज़िंदगी से की तेरे साथ नहीं,

बस तू खुश रहना यार अपनी तो कोई बात नहीं..!!</div>

अब न करेंगे तुमसे कोई सवाल,

काफी हक़ जताने लगे थे तुम पर माफ करना यार..!!</div>

अजीब हैं मेरा अकेलापन न तो खुश हूँ,

न ही उदास हूँ बस खाली हूँ और खामोश हूँ..!!</div>

अब तो वफ़ा करने से मुकर जाता है दिल,

अब तो इश्क के नाम से डर जाता है दिल,

और अब किसी दिलासे की जरूरत नही है,

क्योंकि अब हर दिलासे से भर गया है दिल..!!</div>

कुछ बदल जाते हैं कुछ मजबूर हो जाते हैं,

बस यूं लोग एक दूसरे से दूर हो जाते हैं..!!</div>

अब न खोलो मेरे घर के उदास दरवाज़े,

हवा का शोर मेरी उलझनें बढ़ा देता है..!!</div>

चल मेरे हमनशीं अब कहीं और चल,

इस चमन में अब अपना गुजारा नहीं,

बात होती गुलों तक तो सह लेते हम,

अब काँटों पे भी हक हमारा नहीं..!!</div>

एक ये ख्वाहिश के कोई ज़ख्म न देखे दिल का,

एक ये हसरत कि कोई देखने वाला तो होता..!!</div>

बेहतर से बेहतर की तलाश करो,

मिल जाए नदी तो समुद्र की तलाश करो टुट जाता हैं,

शीशा पत्थर की चोट से टुट जाए,

पत्थर ऐसे शीशे की तलाश करो..!!</div>

उसे हमने बहुत चाहा था पर पा न सके,

उसके सिवा ख्यालो में किसी और को ला न सके,

आँखों के आँसू तो सूख गये उन्हें देख कर,

लेकिन किसी और को देखकर मुस्कुरा ना सके..!!</div>
